Steve, It is funny you say about a BFO machine late last year I bought an old Whites 5900 Di Pro Plus that had never been used, the owner had bought it and put it in his loft and then bought a waterproof detector so this one got forgotten about, anyways I bought it and I put batteries in it and fired it up and It has brutal power and it has a threshold that is even better than the TDI SL.

The Coinmaster Pro from White’s Electronics is a lightweight, easy to use metal detector that features new Smart Notch technology providing coin shooters and treasure hunters with a convenient way to accept or reject foil, nails and pull tabs. High value targets can be easily discovered and identified via the Coinmaster Pro’s 3 tone IDs, ranging from low, medium to high. Coins produce high tones; jewelry and rings, medium; while nails and iron pieces produce low tones.
The large LCD screen has a digital Target ID system for verifying target types on its 8-segment indicator. It also shows depth readings from 2 to 8 inches and below on a 5-segment scale. When searching for objects buried deep underground, one can increase the metal detector’s sensitivity to improve its depth performance. The dedicated Pinpoint/All Metal mode gives the user an easy way to narrow down the target’s exact location just by pushing the conveniently laid out touchpad controls. There are 5 fully adjustable settings for Discrimination allowing you to focus on specific targets and eliminate junk metal objects in high trash areas.
White Coinmaster Pro Metal Detector
A 9-inch waterproof spider search coil and a water resistant control box makes the Coinmaster Pro a very rugged metal detector for all types of uses and users. It comes with an adjustable shaft and arm cup, while shorter accessory shaft rods are also available for the young and budding coin shooter. Up to 20 hours of operation can be expected from a pair of 9-volt batteries.
