- Play free games, win real prizes! Enjoy playing games, collect tickets and win real cash in daily and weekly draws. Let’s spin the wheel of fortune and win instant money!
In the past, I wrote about the many trivia apps that could earn you some pretty cool cash prizes. Unfortunately, I only talked about trivia apps, so if you’re not a fan of trivia, or, if you’re like me and consider yourself bad at it, you may have been disappointed with your options. I get it.
Let it be known that there are many game apps, aside from your trivia options, that can earn you real money.
From playing the lottery to casino spin to win-like games, I’m going to cover them all. And, yes, you can win real money, not just fake in-game currency, I promise you that much.
If you like to have fun and want to pass some time with your phone, then consider downloading one of the many I list below.
Play Games And Win Exciting Prizes
Who knows? You could walk away with a good chunk of cash.
Swagbucks Live
If you’re already a member of Swagbucks, be sure to download the Swagbucks LIVE apps to potentially win $1,000s every week. In short, this company is one of my favorites, where you can earn a ton of cash answering survey/research questions, playing games, watching videos, completing offers and so much more. I have talked about them a lot, but it’s for a good reason.
Like all of the trivia apps on the market, Swagbucks Live will air at a certain time of the day, and you will need to answer all of the questions correctly to earn your points.
You technically earn cash, but the company rewards you with what’s known as “SB points.” These points are just as good as cash, but you will have to exchange them using the Swagbucks platform.
If you want to earn money right now, I can’t recommend Swagbucks enough. I earn at least $200+ a month and continue to do so. Whether it’s answering survey questions or playing games, there are so many ways to earn.

FanDuel
If you love fantasy sports and don’t mind wagering a dollar or so, you could win thousands, if not millions, in one game.
Known as a daily fantasy game, FanDuel is the most popular option. All you need to do is draft your lineup without going over your salary cap and compete against others in your league. I have played it a lot and would say it’s one of my favorites on the list. The great thing is that the league only lasts a day, not a season like the many fantasy websites out there.
Every day, FanDuel has thousands of contests for almost every sport imaginable.
And no, you don’t have to be a guru, either, as the app provides all of the information you need to know to make a wise pick. Wager a few bucks and see how you like it. You may be surprised.
- Website:FanDuel
Big Time Cash
In the Big Time Cash app, you will play any one of the games listed on your dashboard. It’s part of the company, WINR Games, Inc, an organization that offers a ton of cash game options.
As you play, you will earn a ticket, which can used to be entered into one of their many cash prize draws. Like a raffle, the more tickets you have, the better your chances are. While you won’t earn cash, you do have the chance at winning some.
Like most of the apps I mention here, they make their money via the ads you watch before you play. They just split the revenue with you, that’s all.
The app is 100% free to play and is quite popular with more than five million downloads.

Bingo Win
Play Games And Win Prizes In India
Bingo Win is said to be the #1 free bingo game on the Android marketplace.
As you play and win, you can earn free credits and coins, all of which you can cash out in the future for a variety of prizes.
There are a ton of features, so I do recommend you at least check out the app’s official website to see what’s included. In short, if you like bingo and want to win cash, then this is one to consider.
- Website:Bingo Win
Coin Pop
The Coin Pop app is a completely free app that gives the opportunity to win real cash.
To earn, choose from a favorite game on your dashboard and start playing. That’s it.
The more you play, the more coins you can earn, which you can eventually turn into a variety of great prizes, yes, including cash.
- Website:Coin Pop
HQ Trivia
As one of the most popular live trivia apps, HQ Trivia pays you to win a round of trivia.
And, while you have to share the pot with other winners, you can still win some cash, albeit not much seeing many people play the app nowadays. Usually, the shared pot is less than a few bucks, if that. It’s still fun, though.
To win, just log in when the trivia show starts and answer all of the questions correctly before time runs out. If you make it to the end, you split the pot. Just be sure to turn on your notifications so that you know when the show starts.

Long Game Savings
The Long Game Savings app works a pinch differently than most listed here.
To use, you will be asked to create a free account, link a bank account and then deposit money into your Long Game Savings Account. Don’t worry, it’s FDIC insured. As you reach financial mission goals, you can win coins in the app, in which you can use to play fun games, such as a slot machine, where you can win up to $1 million or even cryptocurrency.
If you want to win money and help achieve your financial goals, it’s definitely one to at least check out.

Lottery.com
If you’re a fan of playing the local lottery, then the Lottery.com app is a must have, even if you don’t plan on playing.
With this app, you can track your tickets, get alerts when you win, and if your state allows it, you can even play on the go.
Much like purchasing a lottery ticket at your local convenience store, you can skip the line and purchase on the app instead.
- Website: Lottery.com
Lucky Day
I reviewed the free Lucky Day app in depth in the past, and basically, it’s like playing the lotto. You will be asked to scratch off lotto tickets, in which you could win cash prizes, sometimes as much as $100,000.
Aside from this, you can also earn points for every scratcher you do, eventually being able to cash out for gift cards and such.
It’s not my favorite option on the list, but seeing it’s free, hey, what do you have to lose if you want to win $100,000?
- Website: Lucky Day
Lucktastic
This is another app that works just like Lucky Day. Scratch the lotto tickets and win the prize if you match the three symbols. It’s quite popular with more than 10,000,000 downloads.
I’m not a fan of this particular app due to the time it takes to earn cash and the many ads, but nonetheless, it’s possible.
I wrote about the app in the past, so I recommend you check it out if you want to see how it works more in depth.
- Website: Lucktastic
Lucky Money
Lucky Money is a free app that lets you test your luck with their “instant win” games. All you need to do is match up three symbols and you win the prize.
Like Lucky Day, you can also earn tokens for every scratcher you play. Once you earn enough, you can cash out for a variety of prizes, including gift cards and prizes.
To date, they have more than one million downloads with a 4.7/5 rating.
- Website: Lucky Money
Lucky Scratch
Yet another Lucky Day clone, you can earn tokens for every scratcher you win. You can also win up to $10,000 via the daily lucky 6 lotto or even spin the daily cash wheel to win prizes.
The company makes most of its money via the ads it shows you in between playing, but it is free to play. Just be prepared to watch a lot of 30-second advertisements.
- Website:Lucky Scratch
Lucky CASH Slots
Don’t like the idea of scratching off lotto tickets to win cash? That’s fine as there are other options as well, such as the Lucky CASH Slots app.
In this app, you simply play the slot machines just as you would at a local casino and hope that you win a cash prize.
The app offers huge weekly giveaways, live slot tournaments and even the opportunity to compete against your friends.
- Website: Lucky CASH Slots
Match to Win
The Match to Win game is similar to that of the scratcher-like games I mentioned prior, but it’s more like a puzzle game, wherein you need to match three piece combos to win.
As you win, you will get score rewards/coins, which can eventually be cashed out for a variety of prizes, including cash via PayPal.
Aside from winning coins, the app also offers daily gifts and even special offers just for playing.
- Website:Match to Win
Math Cash
If you don’t mind solving a math problem to earn money, then this is an app to really get your brain going.
The goal here is to make sure you solve the problems as fast as possible, beating your competitors. As you do, you can collect points, which can then be cashed out via PayPal.
It’s 100% free to play.
- Website:Math Cash
MISTPLAY
MISTPLAY is unique in that they will reward you to play any of the games listed on what’s known as your “mixlist.”
Simply log into the, pick a game of interest and start playing it. The more you play, the more points you can earn, in which you can eventually cash out.
The cool thing about this app is that the games always change, so there’s always something new.
- Website:MISTPLAY
The PCH App
You may have heard of the Publisher’s Clearing House before. You know, the company that shows up to your doorstep with balloons? To date, the company has given out more than $434 million since 1967 and continues to give away money to this day.
Out of all the apps I mention, the PCH app has some of the greatest cash prizes. I’m talking about $5,000 a week for life.
To play, you can earn money via the free lottery tickets or even test your luck with Vegas-style slots. They also have daily drawings.
As one of the most popular apps on this list, the app has more than 5 million downloads and a solid 4.4/5 rating.
- Website: The PCH App
Play and Win
Play and Win is another trivia game, where you can test your knowledge and collect points as you go.
A new game starts every hour, and it’s 100% free to play.
As I write this, they have more than one million downloads with a 3.9/5 rating.
- Website:Play and Win
Quizdom
The problem with a lot of those trivia games is that you have to wait until a certain time before you can actually play.
Well, that isn’t the case with the Quizdom app as you can play trivia and win cash at any time in the day.
To play, open the app, choose a category of interest (they have 16) and start playing to earn free coins. Once you earn enough, you can then cash out for a variety of prizes, including cash.
- Website:Quizdom
Solitaire – Make Money Free
If you like the idea of playing solitaire and winning money, then this could be the app to consider downloading.
To play, all you need to do is play a round and collect at least one ticket. With each ticket, you can enter a drawing, increasing your chances with more ticket collections. If you win, you receive your prize via PayPal.
Playing is 100% free and only takes minutes to set up. All money is made via the ads you watch before the games start.

SpinToWin Slots
What Apps Can You Win Real Prizes
The SpinToWin app gives the opportunity to win real cash prizes in daily, monthly and quarterly giveaways, with prizes as high as $10,000.
To play, it works a lot like the Lucky Day mentioned prior, where you will be asked to scratch off scratchers. If you match three symbols, then you win the prize stated. You can also enter prize drawings, giving you even more chances to win.
As I write this, the app has more than one million downloads with a 4.4/5 rating.
- Website:SpinToWin Slots
Sudoku – Make Money Free
I’m a fan of Sudoku, so I was quite surprised when I found an app that actually paid you to play.
Like a lot of the games I already mentioned, this one works in a similar way. Just play the game, earn tickets and then enter the raffles to win.
While it’s a game of luck, it’s a lot better option than not being able to win anything at all, right?
- Website: Sudoku – Make Money Free
Words Words Words
Similar to that of Word with Friends or Boggle in a way, Words Words Words is a game where you need to unscramble the letters to create as many words as possible.
As you play, you can earn tickets, in which you can enter a drawing. Again, it’s a test of luck, but hey, it’s better than nothing.
The app has more than 100,000+ downloads with a 4.4/5 rating.
- Website: Words Words Words
Verydice
This app is quite simple.
Roll the dice, and whatever it lands on is what you win in tickets. It’s not too complicated, but it’s a great way to win. You can then use these tickets to redeem for more than one million prizes.
The app is quite popular, with more than one million downloads and a 4.4/5 rating.

WINR Games Inc
This one isn’t necessarily an app, but rather, it’s a company that has a ton of highly-rated games on the Google Play store. I mentioned a few options already, such as Sudoku and the Solitaire game, but they have a ton more. It’s the reason I’m just listing the company name.
To find the many games they are offering right now, follow this link to see all of their current offerings. Browse through the selection and download any that seem of interest. You can also consider downloading that “Big Time Cash” app if you want access to all of their games.
When I was writing this, they had at least 45 games to choose from, with some of the most popular options including Gem Drop, Counter Quest, Juicy Jelly and Daring Descent. Again, there were a lot! If you’re going to play, you may as well try to win.
Almost all of the games work in a similar manner. Download the game, play it and earn raffle tickets for an upcoming drawing.
- Website: WINR Games Inc
There are so many apps you can play right now that earn you cash. While you won’t make a living doing this, it’s not too hard to earn $10, $20 or even $30 a month.
As most of these apps are 100% free, you can at least check them out to see if it’s worth keeping. Some apps can earn you cash quite fast while some could take an eternity to earn $2. It’s usually pretty easy to determine which apps are worth your time.
Also, there are other apps that can earn you money as well, so don’t think you can only make money playing games. Check out the post if you want to earn money in other ways. Aside from this guide, you should check out this game apps to win real money post found on HustlerGigs. I think they did a nice job highlighting some of the better apps as well.
For now, the app market is always changing, so I will do my best to add apps as they come. If you know of any I’m missing or you want to talk about the ones I did mention, then you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments below.

How and where to use your general knowledge skills to earn some extra money in a cash quiz
We’ve covered many types of different real money games, with many of them offering specific appeal to a subset of supporters. But one type of gaming for cash that does have more universal appeal are the online trivia games where you can answer quiz questions to win money.
Sitting firmly in the bracket of real money skill games, a trivia or quiz game for cash or other prizes will offer good chances to anyone who has a good amount of general knowledge to earn money from their skill, plus they’re great fun too. Our review of HQ Trivia – the most well known of the cash trivia apps – will show you just how addictive these quiz for money games have become.
So how much do you know about the world around you and the events taking place in it?
If the answer is ‘plenty’ then chances are that if you play in an online quiz, you’ll have good prospects of winning some extra cash. Plus if you enjoy competition you’ll find that quiz contests are high up on the list of real money tournaments.
They’re available on apps which you can download to your mobile, contests are often live, you’ll sometimes find quizzes that focus on a specific area of knowledge (for example sports, celebrities, music, movies), and there are plenty of options to play which can be found in the list of real money trivia apps.
How To Make Money With Trivia
Before we get to the operators and apps that offer cash prize trivia contests, it’s worth giving some thought to just how you can make money with quizzes.
The most obvious is of course playing to win a quiz contest (and hence collecting any associated cash prizes).
Clearly that’s not as easy as it sounds, and you’ll need to be highly clued up in general knowledge to be successful. Remember though that it’s not always about the money – it’s a natural human trait to answer (or attempt to answer) questions, and being right (or being seen to be the best) is enough reward for many.
But still the ideal is if you can play a quiz and make money at the same time right? Either in hard cash or in the guise of other prizes.
So there are other options for making money with trivia besides winning contests where you have to get the answers right. These include:
- Creating and running your own trivia contests
- Playing casino games where answering questions correctly plays a part in winning
- Writing or creating trivia questions
OK we’re here to get clued up on online real money quizzes, so let’s get started. To the left above you’ll find the menu describing the subjects we’ll be covering. W

This live trivia game presents free to play question-based contests streamed to your phone…and with real cash prizes too for every contestant that wins.
You won’t be winning the sort of money on offer at HQ Trivia, but there are games that focus on specific areas of knowledge like Star Wars for example.

You won’t be winning real money with Total Trivia as it’s an option for quiz fans where you can win real items and discounts from your favorite brands.
Those discounts can be as good as real cash though, and your contests against other shoppers can still increase your wallet size if you can end up with the highest end of tournament score.
As you play trivia and score points you’ll be earning a discount towards the purchase of a product, so even if you don’t win you still end up ahead.

HQ Trivia
For Apple phone users only and launched in the summer/autumn of 2017, HQ Trivia rapidly became the top real money trivia app. So much so in fact that many quiz fans now look for alternatives by searching for ‘sites like HQ Trivia’.
Its format – with two games run at the same times every day – quickly attracted player numbers up in the hundreds of thousands for every contest.
Each one of the real money contests fires out 12 limited-answer-time questions in each round, with prizes anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 being distributed equally among however many people get all 12 questions right.
Quezztion
Available on iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone, the Quezztion real money trivia app offers you a chance to test your skills in a series of engaging and challenging competitions.
You’ll get the chance of some great entertainment, be able to show off your knowledge, and win big money if you’re good.
With three different types of tournaments – 10 in a row, King of Five, and Cash King of Five (play for real cash) – plus the chance to refer friens and get $10 to play with, Quezztion is one of the leading trivia apps on the market.
It’s also one of a few apps that run a loyalty program where you’ll earn Quezztion ticketz that can be saved up and then traded in for prizes.
SatoshiQuiz
You may have heard of the Bitcoin phenomenon? Want a few for yourself?
Well, here’s your chance. Satoshi Quiz is the place to go if you want to answer trivia questions in various categories and win money in the form of Bitcoins.
Ladbrokes Quiz Games
Of course they’re much better known as a betting operator, but Ladbrokes also offer a bunch of other real money games including poker, casino games, bingo. and yes you guessed it….there are Ladbrokes cash prize quiz games too.
You’ll get to test your general knowledge with a suitably wide range of TV quiz games and get instant wins.
Online Casino Trivia Games
We all know that casino games are based purely on luck, or at least the chance of winning money is. Sure you might be able to increase your chances of winning with the application of correct strategies in some games such as 3 card poker, but even so it’s going to be fate that decides if you win long term.
So how do the casino operators entice new players in? Especially from a generation that’s been brought up on video games and who might be more interested in video game contests for money.
How do they add an element of skill into what would otherwise be pure games of luck?
The answer is in innovation, and one such innovation is in the introduction of trivia into the casino games themselves. One developer known as Gamevy have done just that and developed
Casino Games With A ‘Trivia For Cash’ Element
Of course there are some difficulties in introducing a skill based aspect into casino games – if it’s all about skill you’ll give good players too much of an edge over the house, if there’s no real skill involved then no one will play. You might as well just chance your arm on traditional slots.
So this is why you won’t be finding pure cash trivia contests in a casino. Players (those that are clued up) would quite likely be able to clean up.
The answer is the creation of hybrid games that offer parts of both options – standard casino games of chance, but with an element of trivia added on. Gamevy came up with two games that fit the bill…
Gears of Fortune
In Gears Of Fortune the aim is to match symbols in a similar way to standard video slots. At the lower end of win values you just have to match the symbols, with 5 hazard symbols meaning you lose everything.
Where trivia enters the equation is if a key symbol appears. When this happens, you’ll be given a question. Answer it correctly, and you’ll get a “cog” attached to one of the four larger jackpot prizes. Collect three cogs and you’ll land the jackpot. answer the question incorrectly and you just go staright back to the main game.
The Heist
More complex than Gears Of Fortune, in this game you’ll need to find your way into a vault that contains a prize. To be successful you’ll have to navigate along a path made up of ten steps, each offering three choices: left, right, or center.
If you choose correctly you move along, incorrectly and you set receive a question. Each right answer lets you progress, each wrong one sets off an alarm. Reach 5 alarms and you lose.
There’s an interesting bonus round where you can keep going for as long as you feel confident, with the chance of winning up to £1 million provided you don’t hit the alarm limit.
Where to Play
You can play Gears Of Fortune and The Heist at Dunder Casino and Casumo
How Hard Are The Casino Trivia Questions
Questions are multiple choice, with one correct answer out of four possible programmed into the software. and the rules of the games indicate there are around 15000 questions held in the software. But each time you’re presented with a question you only see a choice of two, so it’s a 50/50 shot to get it right.
Most questions appear to be fairly easy to answer correctly, so given those odds you’ll most likely be getting it right more often than not. In addition – with 20 seconds to answer – there’s just enough time to go searching for an answer.
Who Wants To Be a Millionaire – For Real Money
One of the most well known and loved TV quiz shows ever. You know the one where contestants make their way up the ladder by answering the correct choice from four multiple choice options, doubling their money each time and using lifelines.
Well you won’t be playing a similar format for money (unless you set up a game yourself with friends with cash prizes on the side). But there is an option to get a taste of the game while trying to build up some cash, and sitting more firmly in the bracket of regular casino games come the slots version of the highly popular show Who Wants To Be a Millionaire.
Playing is easy, as it is on any slot game.
The real money Who wants to be a millionaire slot is a 5 reel, 50 payline masterpiece, with symbols illustrating various aspects of the show. Line up the symbols into a winning combination and you get the payout.
There are plenty of bonuses to keep you interested, including a bonus round activated by scatters where you’ll need to pick from 4 questions to reveal and win a cash payout. There’s a progressive jackpot and free spins too.
Play Games And Win Prizes In Pakistan
Clearly playing a slot doesn’t have anywhere near the skill level of trivia contests for real money, but it does offer high fun value with at least some link to quiz type entertainment.
There are plenty of places to play, with Ladbrokes Casino being an obvious example and Vegas Slots another.
Create Your Own Real Money Trivia Game
Another way to make some cash with trivia is to create your own games, either for selling on or to position ads in the games that you’ll earn money from.
QuickAppNinja is a name to remember here. It’s an Android game app builder with templates that allow you to easily create your own quiz games.
The builder is easy to use and creation is done through an easy, intuitive drag-n-drop game wizard. No specialist skills are required.
Another option is to run trivia events – weddings, discos, pub quizzes, and a host of other options. For this you’ll need something professional, and maybe the best way to achieve it will be to use buzzer systems. Those provided by DigiGames are a good example, and the firm provides equipment for all types of cash trivia game contests which can result in a similar solution to those you see on TV game shows.
How to Make Money Writing Trivia Questions.
With the interest on apps that provide trivia questiuons for cash on the rise, there are going to be plenty of firms on the lookout for questions. This should present anyone with the skill to create good sets of trivia questions (and get paid for it).
You’ll need to be clued up on formats and have strong grammar and spelling skills, but some of the options when you do have a good library of questions include:
- List your services at freelance websites such as Elance and Freelancer
- Organise and run local pub or community centre quizzes
- Find a way to contact big firms that run quizzes – the apps listed on this page may be good examples, but think about TV-related companies and mobile phone app companies who run quizzes too
- Build a website and create your own business selling quiz packs
Pros & Cons
Play Games And Win Real Prizes
The main benefit of playing cash prize trivia games is clear – if you’re good enough you’ll have a reasonable chance of picking up some money prizes. Equally though, they’re fun, easy to play, and can often be played anywhere or anytime. Plus they’re a great time filler for bored moments or when you have a gap with not much else to do.
On the negative side – and this is more applicable if you’re not strong in general knowledge – they can quickly become frustrating and you may not be able to keep interest long enough.
Many are free to play, so at least you’re not losing any money in making the attempt.
Resources
We’ve got a fairly concise list of real money trivia apps here on this page, or at least the majority of them. So there’s not much value in directing you to similar lists.
The best additional resources then are likely to be those that might give you pointers on how to win, and given the nature of online trivia contests – where there’s a time limit on how long you have to answer – there’s not much you can do to improve chances other than improve your ability to answer questions.
For general knowledge you can obviously spend time reading Wikipedia pages and keep abreast of world news, but one practice is very important and the trivia app known as Sporcle can give you plenty of opportunity to hone your answering skills.
For plenty of videos on cash prize trivia gaming see this Youtube channel.
Summary
Interest in real money trivia games is on the increase, not surprisingly for a type of cash gaming which has skill at its core. As the number of operators grows, prize values are likely to go higher and higher, resulting in further growth.
If you have a good grounding in general knowledge and can answer quiz questions quickly, there really isn’t a lot to stop you getting involved and maybe picking up a cash prize just for showing your trivia knowledge.
